U2 Get on your boots will receive its first radio world premiere next monday during Dave Fanning programme “The Colm and Jim Jim Show” on RTE Fm2 at 8.10 am (irish time). The worldwide exclusive continues the three-decade tradition of Fanning being the first DJ to play new U2 material on the radio. Four years ago the internet webcast of the U2’s Vertigo, another world premiere accorded to Dave Fanning, was blocked to foreign listeners. What will happen this time?
U2’s Get On Your Boots will be released as a digital download on February 15th and a physical format will follow on February 16.
As stated on u2.com website “the album cover artwork is an image of the sea meeting the sky by Japanese artist and photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto.”

Last but not least U2 decided to change a title at the last second, as you can see Tripoli changed into Fez being born.

- Magazine format – limited edition with album CD, with 64 page magazine. Features access to exclusive downloadable Anton Corbijn film.
- Box format – limited edition bespoke box containing digipak format album CD, DVD of Anton Corbijn’s exclusive film, 64 page hardback book, plus a fold out poster.
- LP vinyl – limited edition with 2 black vinyl discs, gatefold sleeve, and a 16 page booklet.
